City of La Habra Heights Newsletter
La Habra Heights Improvement Assoc. is NOT part of the city and receives no city funding. 4-H Hilltoppers
4-H is a national organization for youth ages 5-19, that promotes hands-on learning and is based on parent and volunteer participation. Hilltoppers, the La Habra Heights branch of 4-H, is run through the University of California. Meetings are held at La Habra Heights Community Center. Meetings are held the 3rd Monday from September through June at 7 pm. Hacienda Golf Club
Hacienda Golf Club has undergone a major re-building and had their Grand Opening in early September 2006. For more information visit their web site at www.haciendagolfclub.com

Highland Riders
Highland Riders, the La Habra Heights equestrian club founded in 1961, has catered to both adult and junior rider needs, and has held four horse shows at The Park each year. An annual banquet awards year end trophies for both English and Western high point winners, as well as Service Awards for individuals providing outstanding service to the club and the community. Hurricanes Swim Team
The Hurricanes swim team from Hacienda Country Club typically swims six swim meets each summer, providing support and training for youths age 4 to 18. In August trophy winners for the summer events are announced. Registration information can be obtained from Frank Cordiero at (562) 694-1081

Los Compadres  Club
Los Compadres of La Habra Heights is a  club that meets approximately eight times each year to discuss local issues and current affairs. About half the time, Wives are invited for special events, which have included wine country tours, concerts and travel. Each April the club hosts the Student Awards Banquet and Scholarship Awards, which honors graduating senior students living in the Heights for outstanding scholastic achievement, and community service. Fido Come Home
Fido Come Home is dedicated to try and return your family pet to you as soon as possible. Accidents happen and dogs escape.
